House Mother Apartments is a four unit condominium-quality building located diagonally across from the Time Market at the corner of 3rd Avenue and University Boulevard. This property, formerly a fraternity house, was completely renovated in 2003 according to Federal Historic Preservation Standards. The "house mother" was the woman who ran the fraternity. She had a specially marked parking space, her own bedroom and bath, and was the official "adult supervision" in the house.

Today, the property is divided into two upstairs three bedroom two bath apartments of approximately 1300 square feet and two downstairs units of approximately the same size, one a two bedroom two bath and the other a three bedroom two bath.
